Peter Newburn has served in full-time ministry for over thirty years. His pastoral experience encompasses many different lay ministry positions. He served for almost nine years as a parish life coordinator in the Diocese of San Bernardino, California, where he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of pastoral ministry and the administration of a large parish.
Peter and his family currently are serving as full-time missionaries in Cameroon with Lay Mission Helpers, a lay missionary organization based in Los Angeles, California. Peter has served Lay Mission Helpers as a theology teacher at the major seminary in northwest Cameroon, providing formation for lay leaders. He also hosts a weekly evangelistic Catholic radio program in Cameroon. Pete’s passion is to help others both grow in their relationship with the Lord and live out their God-given purpose in life. He serves as Renewal Ministry's country coordinator in Cameroon. He and his wife Joy have three children.
