August 4: Servants of Jesus Christ
Content: St. Paul begins his letter to the Romans by identifying himself. Who is St. Paul? He is a, “servant of Jesus Christ.” We share that same identity as disciples of Jesus.
August 5: Jesus Christ Our Lord
Content: What Paul has discovered, what he knows in his bones, is that Jesus Christ is the Lord of his life. This relationship is a relationship of total trust and surrender.

Content: The only way for each one of us to inherit what belongs to Jesus is to put him on the throne of our lives.

Content: The cross of Jesus has restored our relationship with God. The brokenness and real hostility that existed because of sin has been healed.
