Become a Mission Team Member

How Can You Be On a Mission Team?

Each team member is responsible for all of his or her expenses. There is typically a set cost that covers your plane ticket, meals and lodging. The costs range from $1,300 for a trip to Eastern Europe, to $3,000 for a trip to Africa. Many team members raise money for their trip by requesting help from their parishes, prayer groups and family members.

While expertise in prayer ministry is not required, it is helpful for a mission team member to have some experience in charismatic-style prayer, and to be comfortable with praying for people in a range of areas.

If you would like to be on a mission team, please send us the following application information.

• A 1-2 page autobiographical sketch of your faith journey. Include a brief description of your experience in ministry.
• Two letters of recommendation (from your pastor, prayer group leader, Spiritual director, etc.)
• A photograph of yourself with your name on the back (doesn’t have to be passport size) for identification purposes.
• Your phone number, current address, and email address if applicable.
