The Missions of Renewal Ministries
In order to promote international evangelization and renewal, we conduct large rallies, schools of evangelization, youth rallies, leadership training and conferences for priests, religious and lay leaders. We are currently working in more than 25 countries in Canada, Central and Eastern Europe, the Balkans, Africa, Asia, the South Pacific, the Middle East, Mexico, and South America. We operate under the blessing of the local bishops and work in conjunction with local leaders. These missions have helped thousands of Catholics be renewed in their faith and many more come to know the saving love of Jesus for the first time.
The mission trips are typically one to three weeks long, consisting of large rallies, a school of evangelization, or other various teaching and training programs. The rallies and conferences usually include talks, prayer ministry, liturgy, testimonies and worship. Most missions have a clear charismatic dimension, but are intended to be an event for the whole Church.
The primary role of the mission team member is to participate in prayer ministry. After each talk those in attendance are invited to respond to the preached word through a time of prayer ministry, and thus are able to receive more of God’s life and healing power. Team members may also have an opportunity to share their testimonies, and to help in any capacity they are needed. The mission teams include Catholics of all ages—lay, clergy and religious who feel a call to mission. Click here to find out how to become a mission team member.
Medical Mission Opportunity
Renewal Ministries is currently conducting medical/evangelistic mission trips to Mexico City to minister to the impoverished, elderly and orphaned there. This is an opportunity for medical professionals and others who feel called to works of mercy, to use their talents to serve the poor in practical ways.
