Final Rome Update

Through a Providential series of events I was able to defend my doctoral dissertation the evening before we needed to leave Rome. Thanks be to God. The defense went well. Mission accomplished. Back in the US. More later! Thanks for your prayers and support. The prayers were effective.

We were honored to have Cardinal Bernard Law and Cardinal Peter Turkson present at the Defense, as well as a number of other Vatican officials. The priest on the far left is Fr. Dan Gallagher, a priest who taught with Ralph at Sacred Heart Major Seminary and who now works in the Vatican Secretariat of State.
