Danielle Brown

Danielle M. Brown was the inaugural Director of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Ad Hoc Committee Against Racism, a role she held from May 2018 until January 2025. There, she worked with the U.S. bishops to identify and amplify God’s perspectives on race and the Church’s mission to preach the Gospel to all nations. A Michigan State University graduate with a B.A. in Interior Design, she previously held several roles in state government including assistant deputy legal counsel to the Governor of the State of Michigan; administrative law judge; and appellate administrative law judge in Lansing, Michigan. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Walking with Purpose, Renewal Ministries, and Benedictine College. A lawyer licensed in the State of Michigan since 2009, she now works with mission-based organizations to advance their objectives. She has had the honor of sharing the Gospel through talks nationally and internationally over the past twenty years, and continues to do so to this day.
