God calls all of us to be salt and light in many different circumstances in our walk with Christ throughout our lifetime.  What does it mean to be salt in the world?  Salt enhances, preserves, and is a binder and stabilizer!  It also hinders bad stuff from growing.  Being salt for someone helps them to to move forward and thrive in their faith walk.  What does it mean to be light?  In a world of darkness all around us, we can be Christ’s light in the midst of the darkness.  “Darkness is not dark for you, and night shines as the day.  Darkness and light are but one.” Psalm 139:12  Of course we are not salt or light on our own but through the Spirit that dwells within us.  When our response is YES to God’s call to action of being salt and light in the world, our soul comes to life!  Join us for a weekend of salty talks and refreshing moments with your sisters in Christ!
