You are loved.

The eternal, immortal, omnipotent, omniscient, Triune God loves you. This reality should stop us in our tracks and force us to ask some big questions, but maybe none bigger than: What is my response to this love? Do I take God’s love for granted? Does his love cause me to repent or to shrug? Do I love Him in return? Do I love others because God loves us first?

As we consider and wrestle with the awesome truth of God’s love, we should be compelled to turn to Him and ask Him to allow his love to convict, inspire, comfort, motivate, and enlighten us.

Friends, don’t get “used” to the fact that Jesus loves you. Let’s not presume upon his mercy because of his endless love, but let’s accept that love by turning away from anything that keeps us from experiencing the fullness of what comes with God’s love.

God loves you. . . Chew on that today.
