Weekly Inspiration: Being Good

by | Aug 27, 2026

Doing the right thing is never the wrong decision, but sometimes ‘being good’ can feel like a burden. Due to our inclination to sin, we are often tempted to think that bad behavior will be more fun, more fulfilling, or less difficult. Those thoughts simply aren’t true. Whenever we choose to do good, even when it’s hard or leads to some degree of suffering, it’s always better for us.

Friends, as we enter into this weekend, keep walking with the Lord, allow him to restore you, and don’t succumb to feelings of spiritual fatigue, but double down on asking for more of the Holy Spirit to inspire and strengthen you!

. . .

Truth from Scripture:

Brethren, do not be weary in well-doing.
2 Thessalonians 3:13

. . .

Wisdom from the Saints:

“Be good, love the Lord, pray for those who do not know Him. What a great grace it is to know God!”

// St. Josephine Bakhita
