Guinea-Bissau
Guinea-Bissau
Renewal Ministries traveled to Guinea Bissau for the first time in 2017, at the invitation of a priest who wanted to help his people, who need spiritual training and formation and are hungry for the Gospel.
Ten percent of Guinea Bissua’s population are Christians, and about 125,000 of those are Catholics.
Most of the people in Guinea Bissau have divided loyalty to Jesus and witch doctors. During its time in Guinea Bissau, Renewal Ministries hopes to focus first on training catechists and some Church leaders, and to journey with them, to help them have a closer relationship with Jesus and become agents of renewal and evangelization.
